Full hot-pink hue with purple tints and a first aroma that suggests oak involvement. Rich and full in the mouth with some sweetness and a definite coconut oak component. The finish is clean and there is generous flavour finishing with firm acidity. Drink to 2027.

KP wines are made by Katie Priscilla Kerrigan, challenging her father, veteran winemaker Michael Kerrigan, to question the way we do things. Wine that displays the true aromas and flavours of the vineyard, and nothing else.

This wine was made with grapes grown in Korijekup Vineyard located in Harvey in WA’s Geographe wine region. The fruit was handpicked, crushed and pressed straight into old, well-seasoned barrels for fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine was then bottled fresh without stabilisation, fining or filtration, and you might find some haze and natural, harmless wine crystals in the bottle.

Perfect slightly chilled with grilled prawns, tomato-based dishes, or a long afternoon with good company, this is a rosé made for relaxed drinking and natural wine lovers.

The Hay Shed Hill vineyard sits in the heart of the Wilyabrup subregion on a property with origins as a dairy farm. The vineyard sits just five kilometres from the Indian Ocean, with a pronounced afternoon sea breeze moderating the climate well beyond what the latitude would suggest. Vines were first planted here in the early 1970s. These are predominantly dry grown across the hilly terrain, with each aspect matched to the variety it suits best. Winemaker Michael Kerrigan has led the estate since 2006 with a clear focus on wines that reflect the quality of the site.
