Another highlight from the many in the Rosie's Block range, this world-class albariño bears Nelson's unmistakable signature. Here, rose spray, lychee and tangerine come forth, along with tropical flavours and a salty, grapefruit-like note of yellow citrus. It is light on its feet, lifted by naturally high acidity and slightly sandy with texture. Powerful and memorable.

Albariño has found a delightful home in Nelson's Moutere Hills, where warm sunshine and cooling maritime influences encourage aromatic fruit and vibrant acidity. Founded by Tim and Judy Finn in 1978, Neudorf is one of New Zealand's pioneering boutique wineries. Winemaker Todd Stevens continues its reputation for beautifully expressive wines, with the region's distinctive clay rich soils contributing texture and savoury complexity.
Pale straw yellow with delicate green reflections. White peach, nectarine and lime zest mingle with orange blossom, fresh herbs and a suggestion of sea spray. The palate is juicy and wonderfully textured, with crisp citrus acidity, ripe stone fruit and a gentle saline character. A refreshing, mineral finish makes another glass rather tempting.
Delicious with grilled squid and green chilli, Vietnamese turmeric fish with dill, or crispy zucchini flowers filled with ricotta and lemon. Fresh oysters with a little finger lime would be equally wonderful.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2030. Enjoy its lively freshness or allow a few years for additional savoury complexity.
