From the cool, elevated slopes of the Adelaide Hills, Sidewood Estate brings a fresh, modern take on rosé, shaped by altitude, long growing seasons and a focus on purity. Founded by Owen Inglis and now under the watch of winemaker Dylan Lee, the estate has built its style around balance and drinkability, letting the fruit speak clearly without overworking it.

Rosé from the Hills tends to lean toward brightness and finesse rather than weight, and this release follows that line beautifully. Gentle pressing and cool fermentation help preserve aromatics, while the region’s natural acidity keeps everything lively and precise.

Pale salmon pink in the glass, it opens with lifted aromas of strawberry, raspberry and watermelon, edged with rose petal and a hint of citrus zest. There is a light, floral note that gives it an extra layer of charm.

The palate is crisp and refreshing, red berry fruits flowing across a clean, dry frame. A subtle savoury edge adds interest, while bright acidity keeps the finish snappy and mouthwatering. It feels effortless and energetic, the kind of rosé that disappears quickly once opened.
