So fine, so delicate and just starting its journey. With a liveliness of florals, it smells like spring itself: honeysuckle, white flowers, acacia, green almond, apple and honeydew melon. Zesty fresh, it strikes a lively balance between racy, lemony acidity and a floral, citrus prettiness. Green apple, light florals, grapefruit pith and zest run long and true and crunchy fresh. Looking good for a bright future, should you be thinking of it. Or, open with shellfish now and enjoy. Drink 2025 to 2035.

Tahbilk is Victoria's oldest family-owned winery, with vineyards to 1860 farmed since 1925 by the Purbrick family. Fifth generation Hayley Purbrick continues that work today with General Manager Joanne Nash.
Located within Nagambie Lakes wine region, the 300ha estate vineyards are planted in iron oxide rich soils and surrounded by the Tabilk-Tabilk wetlands. These are an integral part of the estate and believed to have a significant moderating effect to the warmth of the surrounding Goulburn Valley.
Tahbilk holds the largest and oldest holdings of Marsanne in the world, originally planted in 1860 with so-called White Hermitage cuttings from the St Huberts vineyard in Yarra Valley. Those vines have not survived, but the estate still holds Marsanne vines dating back to 1927.
2025 will be remembered as a season when nature offered Victorian growers good spring rains and a warm, dry and trouble-free growing season. Yields and quality were both considered excellent.
This wine opens with lively and nuanced floral aromas of honeysuckles and freesias, honeyed acacia, fresh almonds and juicy tropical fruit. The lively florals continue on the medium-weighted palate that bounces with acidity and fresh citrus fruit.
Enjoy now with saffron and wild mushroom risotto, pan-roasted bugs with sage brown butter, seared pork chops with apples and creamy Calvados sauce.
Tahbilk Marsanne has a proven track record of cellaring, with the wine developing deeper floral, honey and citrus notes. An aged wine can be paired with more substantial roasted dishes at the table.
