Fresh and vibrant stonefruit with sweet vanilla pastries
The nose opens with aromas of yellow stonefruit, pineapple and sweet baked goods, backed by subtle flinty touches and vanilla. Rounded and textural, the palate continues the theme. An overall fresh, vibrant and easy-drinking style of Chardonnay.
Picture a sunny Sunday afternoon, the table laden with a spread of roasted pork belly and a bright, citrus-spiked green mango salad. The vibrant, youthful energy and rounded, fleshy stonefruit weight of this wine will embrace the melting richness of the pork, while its clean, flinty definition slices through the unctuous gelatin and matches the salad's crunch. The subtle vanilla and seasoned oak notes act as an anchor harmonising the sweet, savory, and tangy elements across the table without breaking a sweat.
Keeping it casual? Pick up a hot rotisserie chicken, shred it, and toss it with some cold sesame noodles. The wine’s rounded, buttery oak barrique maturation handles the richness of the chicken skin beautifully, while its vibrant acidity keeps the dense, nutty sesame paste completely refreshed and balanced.
More about this wine
Taylors is a third-generation family-owned winery with substantial estate vineyards in South Australia’s Clare Valley. The Jaraman range of wine builds on the Australian tradition of regional blending, each part elevating the other.
This Chardonnay blends roughly equal components of Clare Valley and Adelaide Hills fruit. Both regions experienced warm and dry conditions in 2025. The wine was matured for nine months in seasoned Burgundian oak barriques, and drinks well on release.
