Wallis is one of the most distinctive vineyards in the Ten Minutes by Tractor portfolio, producing Chardonnay that beautifully reflects the cool climate and maritime influence of the Mornington Peninsula. With head winemaker Imogen Dillon at the helm, the estate continues to refine its celebrated single vineyard wines, capturing the unique personality of each site with clarity, precision and restraint.

The Wallis Vineyard enjoys a long, cool growing season that allows Chardonnay to ripen slowly while retaining exceptional natural acidity. Ancient soils, gentle slopes and thoughtful winemaking, including barrel fermentation and extended lees maturation, create a wine of impressive texture, complexity and mineral drive.

The colour is a brilliant pale gold with youthful green highlights. Aromas of white nectarine, grapefruit and lemon zest are intertwined with flint, almond meal and delicate citrus blossom. The palate is poised and beautifully textured, layering vibrant stone fruit over creamy lees richness, subtle French oak and a fine mineral spine. Bright acidity carries the wine through a long, focused finish of elegance and persistence.

Magnificent with butter poached lobster, roasted kingfish, free range chicken with morels, handmade ricotta ravioli or roasted cauliflower with brown butter. Drinking beautifully in its youth, this single vineyard Chardonnay will reward careful cellaring over the next decade.
