Refreshing, complex and saline inaugural release from a benchmark biodynamic wine producer
With admirers around the world, Cullen has been a leading name in Margaret River wine since the early 1970s. The estate is today guided by Vanya Cullen, for whom quality is made in the vineyards, and founded in integrity and biodynamic viticulture.
This is the inaugural release of the Cullen Sauvignon Blanc. From the for excellent, dry and cool 2026 season, the biodynamically grown fruit was 100% sourced from the Cullen vineyards in Wilyabrup and crafted with minimal intervention and indigenous yeasts.
Pouring a light, creamy hay colour, the wine opens with delicate florals and subtle tropical fruit aromas surrounded by fresh, saline finger lime notes. The bright and textural palate continues the saline notes with refreshing, complex and lightly creamy citrus and orchard fruit flavours that linger and build after each sip.
Leaning towards classical, refreshing and savoury styles of Sauvignon Blanc, this is best enjoyed well chilled as an aperitif and with lighter grilled seafood served with seasonal vegetables and herbs.
