Lighter bodied Grenache with vibrant and juicy red fruit
Top Gold & Trophy for Best 2026 Dry Red Wine at the 2026 Barossa Wine Show
Pouring a bright raspberry colour, this Grenache greets with lively and vibrant candied, floral red fruit aromas and notes of ripe citrus and ginger. Lighter in weight, it’s a fruit-forward style with juicy and plush red fruit flavours balanced by mouth-watering acidity.
Best enjoyed with a light chill, enjoy on its own or serve to a charcuterie board, hearty salads and roasted vegetables and lighter meats.
More about this wine
The grapes for this wine were sourced from 1961 Grenache vines in the Kurtz vineyard in Light Pass. The fruit was fermented in a small open fermenter and gently hand plunged to optimise colour and flavour without excessive tannin extraction. The wine was held in stainless steel only and bottled early to retain the fresh fruit flavours.
