Off-dry, vibrant and succulent Mosel-style with citrus, tropical fruit and spice
A playful take on Eden Valley Riesling, Prima celebrates the delicious balance between gentle sweetness and refreshing acidity. Pewsey Vale's history stretches back to 1847, making it one of Australia's pioneering Riesling vineyards. Today, winemaker Louisa Rose continues that tradition, working with fruit grown at around 500 metres above sea level, where cool nights and ancient soils preserve wonderful fragrance and freshness.
Pale straw yellow with delicate green reflections. Fresh lime, green apple and juicy mandarin mingle with jasmine and orange blossom. The 2026 vintage is light, lively and beautifully aromatic, with a touch of residual sweetness balanced by zesty citrus acidity. A refreshing, mouthwatering finish makes it particularly irresistible.
Wonderful with Thai green mango and prawn salad, Vietnamese lemongrass fish, or spicy Korean fried cauliflower. Its gentle sweetness is a terrific match for chilli, ginger and fragrant Asian herbs.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2031. Particularly appealing for its youthful perfume and lively fruit.
The 2026 is presented with 26g/L residual sugar and a low 8.5% alc./vol.
