The NV Brut Rose Premier Cuvee is pure delight. Pale in colour, Paillard’s Rose is all about minerality, drive and tension. This mid-weight, gracious Champagne literally dances on the palate with its exceptional grace. It is neither too delicate nor overly rich, but just beautifully balanced and harmonious from start to finish. The Rose turns more vinous with time in the glass, but it is an extremely versatile wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with food.

2009 base vintage; 70% pinot noir from Mailly, Verzenay, Verzy and les Ricey, red wine, 30% chardonnay from Avize and Cramant; 3.5 years on lees; 6-7g/L dosage.

A pretty restraint rose of pale salmon and pomegranate and watermelon flavours. underlined by excellent mineral expression, well interlaced with fine tannins. Enticing depth of plum, black cherry and strawberry fruits celebrates its pinot noir lead, while chardonnay builds tight acid structure and focus. A fine-boned style of mineral texture, elegant dosage and fine persistence. In a clear bottle without cellophane or box, be sure to keep in the dark.
