Fruit from vineyards across the Canberra District. 30% whole bunch, the balance destemmed whole berries. This is not a wine to jump up and grab you, but it wins you over by stealth. Subtle on the bouquet and palate, the fruit has a just-ripe, slightly sweet blackberry quality, and touches of graphite and oak blend seamlessly with the fine, gently persistent tannin.
93/100 James Halliday Wine Companion 2020, 1 August, 2019
An elegant fragrance of red-fruits, dusted spice and lifted white pepper. The palate brims with dark berry fruits and delivers a silky textured mouth feel which finishes with long fine tannins.
