Comprising 70% Corvina and Corvinone; 30% Rondinella, Croatina and Molinara
Hand-harvested in late September, fermented and aged in Stainless Steel for 8 months and a further 5 months in bottle before release.
Light ruby in color, the nose has copious smoky mineral, a touch of fresh tobacco and cherry scent. Light medium in body, with a broad mouth feel and good acidity, fine tannins provide very good structure and focus. The flavors are slightly herbaceous and very savory, with a great deal of saliva-inducing mineral. The finish is well balanced, firm and reserved, and has very good length. 12.5% alc/Vol.
