The alcohol, low. The acidity, juicier and palpably more natural. A gentler approach and easier drinking because of it. A botrytic parade of dried mango, pineapple chunks, ginger crystals and orange liqueur. The finish long enough, without the stellar length of great examples. The poise, exemplary. Apricot marmalade notes linger. The oak beautifully nestled. Time will tell.
