Lark Hill was established by Sue and David Carpenter in 1978, on the Lake George Escarpment above Bungendore, having left careers in scientific research to pursue their passion for winemaking.
This is a medium-weight Shiraz of immediate drinkability. A blend of Dark Horse Vineyard and Hilltops fruit, it is full of ripe, red berry fruits and subtle spice. The palate has fine tannins supporting the core of sweet fruit and the result is a wine that will reward cellaring but does not require it.
