Bright pale straw with green hues. Lifted aromas of citrus zest, grapefruit, subtle yellow fruits, and wet stones. The palate is racy and textured from the extended contact on lees with serious intensity.
Vines planted '75, several pickings, whole-bunch pressed, chilled, fermented with some solids, part wild, part cultured yeast, when fermentation finished blended with the ferment lees. Has as much impact as Block 1, but not the same intensity and purity.
