Deep red brick colour with purple tints.Seductive aromas of blue fruits and dark chocolate with a rich dry herb savouriness. A rich and lifted palate showing flavours of blue fruits, blackcurrant and red berries, with good length of flavour, concentration and ripe chocolatey tannins. Hints of florals and dry herb with rich berry compote sweetness on the finish.
From the five estate vineyards, machine-harvested, destemmed, pumped over, some batches cold-soaked matured for 14-16 months in French barriques (30% new). Old-fashioned (but good) bay leaf/green olive notes on the finish.
