The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge was the only cru in bottle at the time of my tasting. It has attractive dark cherry and bergamot scents on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, very pretty fruit and a pleasant sharpness on the finish. Drink 2019-2023.

A very ripe nose features notes of plum, cassis, black cherry and soft earth influences. There is fine volume and acceptable verve to the concentrated and delicious flavors that display a touch of bitter cherry pit character on the ever-so-slightly warm finale. This is attractive but it would be fair to say that it's very 2018 in style.
