The Clos de Vougeot contains 50% whole bunches, and comes from an excellent plot at the top of the vineyard just below Grands Echezeaux. The nose is intense, with layers of red and dark fruit giving a clear indication of the whole-cluster fermentation. It’s expressive, generous and floral, with lovely, silky mid-palate fruit and tremendous freshness and verve. This is a treat! Outstanding
