A light straw yellow colour. Pear, celery leaf, and lemongrass aromatics. Tight and mineral focussed on entry then loosens to a richer, tropical, and cut herb palate. Tension and drive is at full volume with the combo of fruit intensity and bright acid. Very long and precise to a dry finish; there is sweetness through the core, but it all comes together in perfect harmony 09 APR 2023 Drink 2023–2037

A truly lovely example of East Coast riesling with a long history of success. This has an abundant and fragrant lime/lemon bouquet which is front and centre in the mouth. Tasmanian acidity is there, of course, but it's folded into the bosom of the fruit.

Picked at the very right time to capture the pure essence of Riesling aroma and flavour. The palate is deliciously satisfying with its lively, bright citrus flavour and crunchy acidity. Freycinet Riesling has a vibrant aroma of fresh cut flowers with a hint of lime that leaps out of the glass. The elegant palate reveals rippling, juicy citrus flavours reminiscent of ripe lemons and limes with a crisp, long, taut aftertaste.
