100% French oak, 33% new. It puts on a classy display of red/black cherry and smoky oak flavour, the sweetness of cedar wood a fitting complement to the wine's earthen undertones. Tannin is firm without pushing too hard and it all finishes with plenty of running. Still a pup, but on its way to a good place.
