Gris is certainly at home on the peninsula. This ticks the boxes for flavour, depth and richness without going over the top. Expect to enjoy some lusciousness from poached pears and cinnamon, fresh nashi with cream and a neat tug of phenolics. It's also refreshing and inviting.

The fruit from this wine comes from two Moorooduc vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula – the Garden Vineyard and Osborn Vineyard.Pale gold in colour with a rich nose of spiced pear tarts, with a hint of roasted almonds, grated ginger and ginger flower. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and savoury yet rich, with ripe yellow pear and quince fruit and tangy lemon and orange zest on the finish.A wine that is delicious right now and will match beautifully to goats cheese and onion tart, a slice of prosciutto or a piece of taleggio cheese.
