Bright garnet in colour, the nose displays beautifully integrated aromas from the whole bunch fermentation.
Aromas of dark wild cherry, morel mushrooms, earthy notes and dark red roses dominate. Pomegranate and orange dominate the palate. The wine has firm and fine tannins, lovely balance and length. Delicious!
Pair with a large plate of perfectly seared frenched lamb cutlets – the Italians call them ‘scottaditti’ – translating as ‘burn your fingers’!
