58/42% pinot noir/chardonnay from Northern Tasmania. Base wine from the '18 vintage. No mlf, matured 18 months on lees. Méthode traditionnelle. Long a master of still wines of the upper Tamar, Jeremy Dineen's current set of sparklings cement his place in the A-league of fizz, and his estate NV confirms it. Emblazoned with a new label as classy as its refined and characterful contents, it's confidently led by pinot noir (ever the hero of this estate). Generous cherry, raspberry, strawberry and fig are backed by luscious layers of brioche, gingernut biscuit and spice. The creamy texture of 18 months lees age is perfectly juxtaposed by malic tension. Long, delicious and great value.

Pinot Noir (57%), Chardonnay (42%) with a dash of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris. Sourced from oWN estate vineyard at Relbia in northern Tasmania.
Pale straw with a lively fine bead. Aromas of crisp Granny Smith apple and citrus. A lively palate of crunchy green apple and lemon with hints of toasted biscuit. Richness and complexity in its youth thanks to delicate aldehydic layering.
