Perle de Vigne Grande Réserve sits at the more serious end of the range, with extended ageing on lees to build complexity and finesse.

In the glass, the wine is pale gold with a fine, persistent bead. Aromas are layered and composed. Lemon zest, green apple and white peach lead, followed by notes of brioche, almond and subtle pastry. With air, a chalky, oyster shell character emerges, giving the wine a distinctly Burgundian mineral edge.

On the palate, it is crisp yet beautifully textured. Citrus and orchard fruit flavours glide across a fine, creamy mousse, supported by bright, integrated acidity. Lees ageing adds savoury depth, hints of biscuit and cashew, without tipping the wine into heaviness. The finish is dry, clean and persistent, lingering with citrus peel and mineral freshness.

This is a sparkling wine that works effortlessly at the table. It pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, roast chicken or light mushroom dishes. Drinking very well now for its balance and polish, it will also continue to develop additional savoury complexity over the next five to seven years.
