You could be forgiven thinking that this wine is a champagne. Everything about it points to it. Everything except the price, that is.
Crémant de Bourgogne is the sparkling wine of Burgundy. It is made using the traditional method as per Champagne, and is usually a blend of permitted varieties that lie with the boundaries of the Burgundy AOC, in this case Chardonnay (60%), Pinot Noir (20%), Gamay (10%) and the rare Aligote.
This Brut Blanc is golden yellow in colour with delicate bubbles highlighting the finesse of its effervescence. It’s fruity in flavour with citrus notes expressing a great harmony that will enhance each moment of conviviality. It presents all its elegance during aperitifs or when served with poultry.
A very pleasant little sparkling wine with character, some refinement in texture, and a clean, technically A1 flavour and aroma. The palate is soft and balanced to a clean finish, with a degree of richness.
