The current disgorgement (2017) is based on the 2010 vintage (50%) with 50% vin de reserve and a Brut dosage of 8g/l.
The Paul Bara Brut non-vintage is a terrific bottle of bubbly, with excellent complexity on both the nose and palate and a very elegant and refined mouth feel. On the palate the wine is fullish, crisp and focused, with excellent mid-palate depth, very refined mousse, bright acids and really outstanding length and grip on the complex finish. The Paul Bara is all refined elegance and great intensity of flavor. A truly superb bottle of Brut NV. 2010-2025+.

Paul Bara Brut non-vintage, with its stunning aromatic complexity, is the symbol of the Bara savoir-faire. As signature champagne, it reflects the unique characteristics of the Bouzy vineyards.
Chardonnay 20%; Pinot Noir 80%.
Light yellow-gold tinted colour. Fine and abundant bubbles forming an attractive mousse. Ripe aromas of fleshy fruits with overtones of Mirabelle plums. Opens up into spices and honey, underlined by candied fruit aromas, bergamot and orange peel. Fruity and fresh with body and intensity of flavour. Notes of yellow peaches with a slight peppery hint. Serve as an aperitif, or with scallops or prawns.
