The 2025 The Florita Riesling is spicy and tightly coiled, water white in the glass and layered with notes of citrus pith, pressed flowers and marmalade. In the mouth, the wine is mostly tense and focused, while the middle palate reveals some richness and toastiness, which is an attractive offset to the acidity. This is very good, as usual; although as usual, I find myself wanting to drink this as an older wine, since that is where the joy truly lies. It will live for 20 years without a fuss. Drink 2026 to 2045.

95+ points Erin Larkin for The Wine Advocate

Electric riesling. This has it all. Vim and vigour driven by tart citrus fruit characters, a glacial, saline core, crunchy green apple, touches of slate and river pebble, and a general sense of being brittle, crisp and laced with distinct minerality. So refreshing and energetic in its dart-shaped, slim-line frame. Pristine as all get out, too. In its vogue, this is stupendous. Drink 2025 to 2035.

95 points Mike Bennie for Halliday Wine Companion, January 2026

Pale colour; shy, elusive nose, taking its time to produce lime, nettle and floral nuances. It's quite backward on the palate. Dry but soft and juicy, undeveloped at present, while the palate has lovely texture, is seamless and refined, and promises much if cellared. Drink 2027 to 2040.

93 points Huon Hooke for The Real Review, January 2026

The 2025 arrives tightly coiled and electric on release — water white in the glass, with citrus pith, pressed flowers and a whisper of marmalade on the nose. The palate is tense and focused, with a glacial, saline core, crunchy green apple and a distinct minerality that speaks of slate and river pebble. Mid-palate richness and a touch of toastiness provide an attractive counterpoint to the wine's driving acidity, hinting at the complexity that will emerge with time. Pristine, energetic and built for the long haul.

Drink from 2026 through to 2045.
