Bream Creek Vineyard is one of the first commercial vineyards planted in Tasmania. Originally planted in 1973, the vineyard was purchased in 1990 by Fred Peacock, who increased Pinot Noir and Chardonnay plantings and introduced Sauvignon Blanc. Fred also planted the first commercial block of Schönburger in the Southern Hemisphere at Bream Creek. Bream Creek Vineyard produces premium cool climate Tasmanian wines that are renowned as both complex and elegant. Since 1990, Bream Creek wines have garnered 20 trophies and over 565 show medals and have an enviable reputation for consistency and reliability.
