The LDR Vineyard was planted by the De Iuliis family in '68 on the heavy clay soils shared with many plantings across the valley. The colour is excellent; this is a rich, succulent and supple wine awash with plum and blackberry fruit, hints of earth (with more to come) and ripe tannins.
