Deep, dense, red/purple colour. Smoky aroma, some charcuterie notes; rich and dense, with loads of tannin and chew. Quite a lot of oak, but not as overtly oaky as some earlier vintages of this wine. Big, full-bodied, firmly structured shiraz. This needs time. 19 FEB 2014 Drink 2016–2029
