Rocche Costamagna is located in the centre of La Morra and the outstanding cru area of Annunziata. The estate has been owned by the Costamagna family since 1841. Today Alessandro heads up this wonderful family business utilising traditional methods and organic farming practices.
The 2012 Barolo is a classic. It is ruby red with garnet. The nose is rich, complex, persistent, with haunting notes of plum, cherry, raspberry and violet. The taste is balanced, elegant, pleasantly tannic, with a long finish reminiscent of ripe red fruits.
