Inky dark red with a bright purple hue. Floral and lifted spice aromas mingle with the jubey fruit and meaty/ black olive notes. Subtle oak, cinnamon, bay leaf and peppermint fill the background. Intense and brooding flavours of cool fruits and warm spices create a plush mouth-feel around the fresh minerality and the long rolling finish.
The quite beautiful colour announces a quite beautiful medium-bodied wine with glorious red and black cherry fruit, superfine tannins and classy oak all in total harmony - so much so you can forget just where you are on the journey through to the finish.

Very deep, young purple/red colour. The bouquet is slightly subdued and shy but clean and young, with attractive shiraz spiciness. The palate is big: full-bodied and intense, with softness and suppleness while the tannins are massive, but they're also ripe and smooth, with balance and charm - if not great detail at this stage of its life. One for the cellar. 12 APR 2016 2018–2045
