Offering more richness, texture and flesh, the shockingly good 2013 Saint Joseph Blanc (all from the southern part of the appellation) is medium to full-bodied, ripe and downright sexy, with tons of fruit, integrated acidity and a great finish. Loaded with notes of white currants, citrus blossom and toasted almonds, enjoy it over the coming 3-5 years.
raised in 50% stainless steel, 25% new and 25% used barriques): Vivid yellow-gold. The nose offers ripe citrus and pit fruit aromas, with a suggestion of dried fig emerging with aeration. Bitter lemon pith and quinine qualities add grip to broad, deep tangerine and peach flavors. The citrussy note gains strength on the finish, which lingers with good sappy tenacity.
