This museum release is quite fresh with citrus and mineral aromas framed in subtle, bottle-aged notes, such as lime marmalade. It is all lime in the mouth with a very long, fresh drive of acidity, blazing the finish brightly. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

At 7 years old this is teetering on the brink of development, walking on the edge of a canyon of toasted honeysuckle, buttered sourdough, red apple and juniper. Precision and minerality await on the palate, underscored by taut acidity and a torrent of sweet fruit that courses over the palate. Many more years left in the tank.

The bouquet’s citrus aromas, now embossed with notes of nougat, nutmeal, meringue and preserved lemon, imply.depth and complexity. Whist guided by a fine and linear acidity, the palate is enriched and layered with lemon curd, nut praline and baked apple.
