The previous vintage was voted the world’s top Chardonnay outside Burgundy by Decanter magazine - a hard act to follow. I prefer this wine and the winemaker agrees. Silken smooth texture with a nicely layered array of flavours including stone fruit/peach, nectarine, root ginger, freshly baked bread and hazelnut. Perfectly balanced wine with subtle alcohol sweetness but a drying finish. Very impressive.
