Hand-picked, berry-sorted, open-fermented, mainly cultured yeast (a small portion wild), 14 days post-ferment maceration, 9-12 months in new and used French oak, filtered and fined. Light, bright crimson-purple hue; there are red fruits and spices on offer, with good mouthfeel and length. This wine has coped with/benefited from the post-ferment maceration challenge.
