Pete Schell does not have to be lectured about alcohol levels one way or the other. He is interested in balanced flavour ripeness, here achieved without apparent effort. Red fruits certainly play the main theme, but there are also some darker fruit notes linked to the ripe tannins that make up the whole. Bargain.
