Adam Louder and Nancy Panter's debut release: a blend of Grampians and Pyrenees fruit
This is the wine that started it all.
Adam Louder and Nancy Panter made their first vintage under the SubRosa name in 2013, a Grampians and Pyrenees Shiraz that quietly laid the groundwork for what's since become one of the region's most closely watched small producers. Adam arrived at that first vintage with serious credentials already banked — stints in Margaret River, Bordeaux and Napa Valley, including a season on the team behind a 100-point Araujo Estate Cabernet.
2013 was a warm, dry year, and the wine's 14.7% carries that through, being riper and more generous than the region's usual register. Grampians fruit (70%) forms the backbone, with Pyrenees (30%) adding depth; no fining, no filtration.
