2013 Vasse Felix Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River

Dark red in colour with a ruby hue. Fragrant and pure Cabernet with blackcurrant and blueberry fruit, floral violet notes and a subtle twig, Australian bush undertones. The dark fruit is complimented with light vanilla and mocha, hinting at the fine oak. Classic and youthful with rich blackcurrant fruit weight, cherry pip freshness and a spectrum of fine to more rustic gravelly tannins. A berry coulis tang run through the length of the palate before a dry, savoury finish of exceptional poise and persistence.
