2014 Chateau de Bellet Rose, Provence

Grape varieties: 85% Braquet, 10% Grenache, 5% Cinsault. Average age of the vines: 30 years.

This wine is a pale rosé colour, underscored by yellow tints. It displays an intense and complex NOSE, displaying floral notes of violet and a subtle touch of hawthorn. The elegant and perfectly balanced PALATE is at once fat and lively. The long finish ends with spicy and licorice notes. Typical of the Braquet variety, this rosé wine is perfectly suitable as an aperitif, as it is smooth with aromatic finesse. It is well matched to gastronomic Mediterranean cuisine. And perfect with braised artichokes or sea bass with fennel.
