Second vintage of Nebbiolo, this wine displays more spice and concentration than the 2013. Complex tannins surround some plump fruit. A wine winemaker Ray Nadeson is extremely proud of!
Nebbiolo shows great promise in the Pyrenees and this wine attests to that bright future. The cliches ring true with scents of dried flowers, orange rind, sour cherry, wood smoke, twig and sandalwood, segueing to a brisk, mid-weighted palate etched with nebbiolo's mosaic of spider web tannins and febrile acidity. This is very good.
