Aromas of dark cherry, violets and blueberry fruits with a seductive toasty oak dominate the nose of the 2014 McWilliams Hilltops Shiraz. This is a medium-bodied wine with fleshy blueberry fruits, vanilla oak and chewy, sinewy tannins. Has a focused tannin core that balances out the overall slippery mid palate fruits. Its drinking well now but will reward medium to long term cellaring.
