Elegant, fruit-focused pinot noir with dark cherry, plum, raspberry and a hint of floral and violet character plus a seasoning of oak. A delicately succulent wine that is accessible and appealing but promises to age well.
Savoury, silty, mineral beginning, red fruits led by cherry and strawberry, bracken, dried herb, very complex. Palate facsimile of nose, firm to fine tannins, well-judged oak, backbone of acidity, long finish. Drink 2018-2025. Alc 14%.'

'Almost a violet perfume, dark cherry, a little spice and crushed dried herb. Medium bodied, good concentration, distinct ‘minerally’ feel here, dark savoury fruit and a long gently tannic finish. Really good. Tasted it twice, and came away impressed both times.'
