Over-delivering for the price, with good, clean, modern presentation, this was upfront with bramble and bright cassis fruit, overlaid on an intense, spicy, creamy, but modern-leaning palate. Well-structured, with integrated but firm tannins, and a nice balance of oak, fruit and spice through to a long finish.
