The 2015 Gevrey Chambertin Clos Village from vines just outside the winery includes 50% whole bunch fruit. It has a complex bouquet, much more than 2013 or 2014, with fine sucrosity. The palate is medium-bodied with smooth tannin, elegant in style with pleasing depth, a splash of soy towards the finish that feels long and sensual. Probably best drunk within the first 4-6 years, this is a fine Clos Village. Drink 2018-2026.
