The 2015 Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes includes 55% whole bunch fruit and it was matured in 30% new French oak. It offers bright redcurrant and cranberry scents on the nose that is well defined and offers plenty of freshness and vitality. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, structured in style with more crunchy black fruit here than the aromatics, sous-bois and white pepper towards the finish. This is premier cru in quality—excellent. Drink 2018-2030.
