Aromas of fresh rye sourdough, wild raspberries, blood orange and river stones. The palate is powerful with a delicate yet persistent bead, defined by red fruits and broad sheets of mouthwatering, mineral-like acidity. A rich, beautifully balanced blanc de noir with a long life ahead of it. Metal clasp enclosure.
Sourced from the 1966-planted Les Chaillots vineyard in Ecueil. Sand and tufa (limestone) soils. 100% pinot noir, vinified in 300L indigenous oak. No MLF. 60 months on lees, 1.5g/l dosage. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
