It represents a "millimeter" blend of the oldest vines of the house (plots over forty years old, the two oldest of which were planted in 1911 and 1913) produced mainly from Cramant Grand Cru (60%), supplemented by Chouilly grand cru (25%) and a touch of Cuis 1er cru (15%), giving the fresh touch of the Gimonnet style.
This cuvée is the subject of an almost maniacal intransigence at all stages of development. It embodies the archetype of the Pierre Gimonnet & Fils style: a cuvée with a superb structure, a silky texture offering a superlative substance, full of finesse and elegance.
