Medium to full ruby to brick-red colour. The bouquet gorgeously detailed with leather, toasted nut, dried herb and briar nuances, a hint of star anise and more chaffy as it aired. The palate is full-bodied but lean and elegantly styled, with abundant but supple tannins, beautifully balanced and contributing to the general savouriness of the wine. An ethereal, super-detailed and delicious Barolo.
