Medium to full ruby to brick-red colour with a tawny rim. The bouquet is shyly reserved and savoury, with dominant balsamic herb aromas, the palate tremendously intense and long-lasting, an effortless wine, the antithesis of the try-hard styles, it caresses the palate and its charms sneak up on the taster, rather than revealing all at first sniff. The length of palate is very impressive.

Very fine thing we have here. All roses and red fruits, mint and dried leaf. It’s medium-bodied, fresh and tight, a subtle honey and nut gloss through strawberry, fine chalk dust tannin, lots of energy, with subtle sweetness to red fruits, but so stony and savoury too. Length is excellent. Very impressive.
